Welcome to our little corner of the country! Here at Blackjack Holler, we share our adventures in beekeeping, homesteading, backhoe operating, pond maintenance, and all the other whatknots that keep life interesting.
We even offer a few homemade goods and unique finds for purchase whenever the bees cooperate and the backhoe doesn’t break down. So pull up a chair, look around, and stay awhile—there’s always something buzzing, growing, digging, or getting fixed here in the Holler!

Calene and I bring plenty of hands-on experience to what we do—and when we run into something we haven’t done before, we’ll put our heads together, roll up our sleeves, and find a way. Around here, a little redneck ingenuity goes a long way!

At Blackjack Holler Honey & Whatknot, our honey comes straight from the hardworking ladies in our own buzzing hives. We believe good honey ought to be pure, natural, and just the way the bees made it—nothing fancy added and no junk stirred in.
Come along with us as we tend the hives, learn a few lessons—sometimes the hard way—and enjoy the sweet rewards of beekeeping. From the first buzz to the last golden drop, there’s always something interesting happening here in the Holler!
